Carahsoft
Technology Corp. (Carahsoft)
SRA International, Inc. (SRA)
TKC Integration Services, LLC (TKCIS)
June 1, 2010
Parabon Computation, a veteran provider of extreme-scale software and services, today announced reseller agreements with three new channel partners: Carahsoft, SRA and TKCIS. These firms will promote and sell Parabon's flagship Frontier® Grid Platform software and Frontier-enabled applications. In addition, they will make Parabon’s products available through several government contracting vehicles: GSA (Carahsoft), ENCORE 2 (SRA), and SEWP IV (TKCIS).
Parabon’s Frontier Grid Platform enables resellers to provide their customers a mature, secure and cost-effective software solution that dramatically increases the ROI of existing enterprise or cloud infrastructures. Frontier uses existing resources more efficiently by securely and unobtrusively harnessing the idle, otherwise wasted capacity of an organization’s existing IT assets – typical servers and workstations utilize less than 10% of their available computing capacity – to power a wide variety of data-heavy and compute-intensive grid jobs, as well as host distributed command & control and cloud computing applications, all on a single platform within an organization’s private network. Frontier features extreme scalability and significant price-performance advantages over dedicated hardware solutions, greatly reducing the time and cost required to perform mission-critical operations. The Frontier Grid Platform is a secure, commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) software solution that has been generally available for a decade and currently manages some of the largest computational grids in the federal government.
Parabon’s channel partners span a wide variety of market sectors that reflect the broad applicability of Frontier. Carahsoft added Parabon’s products to its portfolio of intelligence and cloud computing solutions available through their GSA schedule; SRA now offers Frontier to national security, civil government and global health markets via their ENCORE 2 schedule; and TKCIS, a tribally owned, Alaskan Native small business, makes Frontier available to government agencies on their SEWP IV schedule.
“We are very proud that these partners recognize the value of Frontier and have chosen to include Parabon’s software products among the preferred applications in their portfolios” said Dr. Steven Armentrout, Parabon’s founder and chief executive officer. “We look forward to working with them, and helping them provide game-changing solutions to their public sector and commercial customers.”
